Ok sooooo.
I don’t like how MoonMoon looks rn (nor the name, but it will come later hopefully).
Her face is more realistic-ish than my other dolls and then she has the Obitsu 45 which is pretty much Mochi Ashi MDD style with bigger legs and a smaller torso.
And her head is tiny.
She might need a taller body at some point, but more than that she needs a better wig in a dark brown maybe. Her face is realistic-ish enough that I think she’d look good in a natural colored wig.
But I don’t really want to start buying her a bunch of stuff.
I’d really hoped she’d keep me entertained a little while longer BUT I love her faceup. It’s so delicate. There are teeny tiny eyebrow hairs.
I don’t have any wigs her size, though.
Also, I could put Emi (Azone/Obitsu Sayaka Miki) on MoonMoon’s Obitsu 45 body and Calliope (DDH-10) on the MDD and then put MoonMoon on the Xinyi and that might suit her more than the very short and child-like body with her more teen-looking to me face.
Though I think none of the skintones in any of those combinations match.
I do still have this Obitsu Ai on the MiM body and I think the other one was Hime Ane? laying around that could join the body swapping party, too.
I think I want to get rid of the Mirodoll boy body Bach is on, too. I just don’t like it. It’s too muscly and weird and makes his head look enormous.
What I REALLY want to do, though, is finish gutting the doll room and actually strip out all of the clothes and shoes an things and sort them one type of item at a time.
But I’m NOT up to actually stripping everyone…
I still need to paint Ai-chan… And repaint Bach. And paint that DD head I bought LAST year specifically to paint and try to sell…….
Haven’t felt up to painting all spring or summer.

did I actually like this doll once or it is just that so many fellow collectors like them that I bought them based on that but I don’t actually vibe with them at all
then there’s the opposite which happens way too often. I buy a doll I didn’t really think much of for clothes or custom parts and then end up liking her a lot
it’s a dangerous game
Another option (one I deal with): Do I Genuinely Like This Doll, Or Am I Just One Of The Few People To Have It, And Weird = Good
that’s a mood
I have a few I’m afraid to let go of bc if I changed my mind I might never be able to get another one
Oh lord both these last two. But if it’s generating those good chemicals at the moment, then all’s fair …
The “Might never manage to replace it” thing is one huge obstacle between me and liquidating my doll collection ngl.
